About Dr Norman Goldwasser

The Florida licensed clinical psychologist, Dr Norman Goldwasser, has received a forensic evaluation license from the University of Virginia’s Department of Law and Psychiatry.

His 30 years experience embraces treating trauma-related disorders such as compulsive disorders, adult and adolescent ADHD, sex addiction and substance abuse, sexual issues, personality disorders, especially narcissism, and depression.
 
For over 25 years, Dr. Goldwasser employs the Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) treatment methodology.
 
Since 1992, the clinical psychologist is the executive director of Horizon Psychological Services in Miami Beach, Florida. His responsibilities include managing all operations at the multi-disciplinary private practice. Furthermore, he provides patients with private consultations and a range of psychotherapeutic services.

Moreover, Dr Goldwasser provides business and educational mentoring to businesses, organizations, and schools.

As an invited speaker to a number of professional and public events across the world, he has shared his knowledge to wide audiences. Also, he is the author of many research publications.

Additionally, Dr Goldwasser is an active regional director and volunteer psychologist for youth outreach organizations such as NCSY. He was inducted into the NCSY honor society for lifetime achievement in 2015.
